Uttar Pradesh, a North Indian state, is an important region in tourism point of view in the country. The economy of the state is the second largest in the country. How to Reach
- Air:Uttar Pradesh has four domestic airports in Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi, and no international airport, connecting the main cities of the state to Delhi and other large cities of the country.
- Rail:The state is connected through major rail heads at Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad and Mughalsarai to other parts of the country.
- Road:Good network of roads connects the state to other corners of the country through NH 2, 25, 26, 27, 29, and 45, and other roads.
Best Time to Visit
- Summers stay in Uttar Pradesh from March to June, with extremely hot and dry weather having temperature going up to 42°C.
- Monsoons arrive in the state in July and pour the region till October.
- The state faces winters from November to February, with extremely chilly temperature going down to 2°C -4°C.
The best time to visit Uttar Pradesh is from October to March, when the weather remains pleasant in winders. Its summers remain very, hence uncomfortable for tourism.
